The Forest

I use the door as a concrete element: the door is a bridge and medium connecting two spaces. I use concrete doors to build an abstract space, with each side of the door representing a different space. The door divides the entire environment into countless overlapping spaces, like the "forest" of modern society. As people move around, they open the door, establishing a connection between two spaces, and also establishing a connection between different people in the two spaces. Closing the door cuts off the connection, and people are in the private space separated by the door. However, despite the separation of the door, they can still hear faint sounds from other spaces. Is this a form of invasion of privacy.
